Jacob Shores-Argüello
Jacob Shores-Argüello is the author of the poetry collections Grief for the Green that Was (University of Arizona Press, 2026); Paraíso (University of Arkansas Press, 2017), winner of the inaugural CantoMundo Poetry Prize; and In the Absence of Clocks (University of Arkansas Press, 2014).
Shores-Argüello was a 2018–19 Hodder Fellow at Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts. He has been a recipient of both a fellowship from the Lannan Foundation and the Rome Prize in literature from the American Academy in Rome. He lives in Texas.
