Sara Abou Rashed

Sara Abou Rashed is a Palestinian American poet. She earned her BA from Denison University and her MFA from the University of Michigan. 

Abou Rashed is the author of Theories of Return (Diode Editions, 2026). She is the recipient of fellowships from Vermont Studio Center and the University of Michigan’s Helen Zell Writers’ Program. 

The creator of the one-woman show, A Map of Myself, and a PhD student in English at The Ohio State University, Abou Rashed lives in Columbus.
